What we collect and why

When you place an order, we collect your name, address, email address and telephone number. We need this information to process and deliver your order, to handle returns and complaints, and to contact you about your purchase. The legal basis is performance of a contract, cf. Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.

When you sign up for our newsletter, we collect your name and email address in order to send you marketing emails. The legal basis is your consent, cf. Article 6(1)(a). You can withdraw your consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any newsletter.

When you visit our website, we collect information about your use of the site through cookies and similar technologies, as described below. Where these are not strictly necessary for the site to function, we collect them on the basis of your consent.

We retain accounting records, including order information, for five years from the end of the financial year to which they relate, as required by the Danish Bookkeeping Act. Data collected on the basis of consent is deleted when you withdraw your consent, or when it is no longer relevant.

Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the suppliers and service providers we need in order to run the shop. These act as our data processors and may only process your data on our instructions:

• Shopify – webshop platform, order processing and hosting
• Klaviyo – email marketing and service emails
• Google – website statistics and advertising
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram) – advertising and measurement
• Pinterest – advertising and measurement
• GLS – delivery of your parcel

Some of these providers are established outside the EU/EEA. Where data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, the transfer is based on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• request access to the personal data we hold about you
• have inaccurate data corrected
• have your data deleted
• have the processing of your data restricted
• object to our processing of your data
• receive your data in a structured, commonly used format and have it transmitted to another controller (data portability)
• withdraw any consent you have given, at any time
